The DNA is fueled by the aspirations of the people of Antigua and Barbuda for a sustainable, comprehensive, decent, accountable, and progressive approach to development. We recognize that our people aspire for a new kind of politics and a different style of leadership as preconditions for achieving prosperity and a good life for all.

The DNA is founded upon the principles of democracy, equality, transformational leadership, the rule of law, integrity, accountability, transparency, and respect for human rights.

The DNA is committed to uplifting the lives and livelihoods of the people of Antigua and Barbuda through the advancement of the moral, political, economic, social, spiritual, and cultural aspects of our society and with adherence to the constitution of Antigua and Barbuda.

The fundamental goal of the DNA is to develop and advance a long-term, strategic, sustainable national development plan for the diversification of the economy and the decentralization of government to foster a more inclusive society.
