The Democratic National Alliance (DNA) announces a new candidate for the St. Phillip’s North constituency. The party extends appreciation to TShaun Lewis, the previous candidate who withdrew for personal reasons, for his ongoing contributions to the DNA and for his support of Mario Thomas, a charismatic, competent, focused and humble young man, whose roots are well entrenched in the constituency.
DNA President, Joanne Massiah, stated, “Politics is dynamic and fluid and I am excited and encouraged that young people continue to offer themselves for leadership positions within our organization and our country. In 2017, at the launch of the DNA we declared emphatically that our goal is to build a cadre of leaders who are committed to our party’s transformational leadership philosophy. I am confident that Mario has the qualities required to excite the constituents to embrace the different kind of politics and the new style of leadership which the DNA brings to the political landscape of Antigua and Barbuda and to persuade them to elect him as their member of Parliament at the upcoming general elections.”
The DNA is determined to bring real and meaningful change in its approach to politics and governance generally and continues to campaign on a platform of transformational leadership.
