On Tuesday April 19th, 2022 at 6:00pm at the Johnson’s Sports Complex (JSC), Simon Boulevard, St. John’s, Antigua, the Democratic National Alliance (DNA) will launch its candidates to contest the next general elections. President of the DNA, Joanne Massiah, said that “I am very excited and I am confident that the electorate will be equally excited by the slate which we have put together…the women and men who have come forward to make a greater contribution to nation building possess the maturity, discipline, experience, bold vision, patriotism and integrity required to lead our country successfully into the future.”
The DNA understands the enormous challenges presently confronting our country and remains confident that the policies outlined in its Vision 2040 policy document provide a practical pathway to the redevelopment of our economy and the restructuring of our society. The Secretary-General of the DNA, Gatesworth James, stated “in the next general election, we intend to battle for the hearts and minds of the People of Antigua and Barbuda through our policies and programs. The DNA will usher in transformational leadership to reposition our economy and society through people-led innovation and technology where our citizens and residents will witness and enjoy progress and prosperity.”
Massiah pledges that the DNA’s campaign will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the serious challenges facing the nation and the issues which the people want to be addressed urgently.
